When our organization was founded in 1976, our initial undertaking—the transformation of the once-derelict area of 42nd Street into a beacon for the arts, now known as Theatre Row—became a model of neighborhood redevelopment.
Thanks to supporters like you, we can continue to partner with more than 100 theater companies each year—including our ten Companies-in-Residence and five Kitchen Sink Companies—offering an affordable venue and critical resources to more than 3,000 artists. Thanks to your tax-deductible investment in Theatre Row, we can serve 165,000 patrons annually, providing access to diverse, creative voices of the Off-Broadway community.
$5,000 sponsors one week’s rental of Theatre One for a Kitchen Sink Company’s world premiere production at Theatre Row.
$2,500 provides free tickets for three nights of Kitchen Sink Works-in-Progress Showings, which allows new and diverse audiences, like student groups, to access the vibrant Theater District.
$1,000 funds the replacement of an aging assisted listening device to ensure our theatres remain accessible for the hearing-impaired.
$500 hires a lighting designer for the Kitchen Sink Festival—to bring our artists’ vision to life, we’re committed to ensuring higher production values than they’ve had access to before.
$250 rents the Theatre Row Lounge for an opening night party for a Company-in-Residence.
$100 supplies a four-hour rehearsal block in a Theatre Row studio for one of our Kitchen Sink Companies.
$50 hires a Production Assistant for one Kitchen Sink Work-in-Progress Showing, which allows our artists to focus on their work rather than logistics.
$25 covers a week’s worth of laundry for one of our ten Companies-in-Residence—as the Chase Brock Experience’s Artistic Director says: “Laundry is the hardest thing and it’s something no one ever thinks about.”
$10 allows our Technical Director to purchase gaff tape for our production department—the show can’t go on without it!
